The founder and head of the mednord Clinic was born in 1954. He completed his studies, and later worked, at the University-Clinic Heidelberg. In 1992 Dr. Pfuetzenreuter founded the second endoscopic day clinic in Germany, the Venus-Tagesklinik in Munich. Dr. Pfuetzenreuter has specialised in laser-endoscopic operations since 1988 and having performed more than 20,000 endoscopic operations, he is one of the most experienced endoscopic surgeons in Germany. He is member of numerous medical societies including the “Professional Association of Gynaecologists“, „German Medical Laser Association”(DGLM) and the “Gynaecological Endoscopy Working Group” ( AGE ). Furthermore, he is the author of the book “Geburt ohne Angst”(childbirth without fear) and educates other doctors in the field of specialised endoscopic practice. pfuetzenreuter@klinik-mednord.de
